You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the website for your own personal use.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing exclusion, we will not be liable for any loss of profit, contracts, business, goodwill, data, income, revenue or anticipated savings arising under terms and conditions or in connection with our website, whether direct or indirect, and whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise.

However, nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

We reserve the right to edit or remove any material posted upon our website.

We may take such action as we deem appropriate to deal with the posting of unsuitable material, including suspending or cancelling your account, restricting your access to our website, or commencing legal proceedings against you.

In respect of all material that you post on our website, you grant to us a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute such material in any media, together with the right to sub-licence such rights.

These terms and conditions, together with our privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our website, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this website.

(9) Law and jurisdiction

This notice will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to this notice shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

(10) Coupons

We reserve the right to end any coupon promotion at any time, and to refuse the use of a coupons if we feel they have been misused by a customer. Only one coupon can be used at anyone time/sale.

(11) Pricing Errors

We reserve the right to cancel a sale before an item is despatched if pricing errors have been listed on the website, we will not honour pricing errors in these types of cases. You will be notified via email if any stock ordered is found to be mispriced, you will have the option to either: a)pay the difference or b)cancel your order & receive a refund.

(12) Installation Terms

For installations we will expect payment in full when the job is complete, this by means of either cash or credit/debit card payment. We only accept cheques before installation takes place subject to clearance.
With some higher value installations we may sometimes ask for a 20% deposit 7 days in advance of the arranged installation date, with the balance due day of completion with payment methods mentioned above.
If for any reason the installation date cannot take place as originally planned, then we will either offer you a new installation date, or your deposit refunded in full.
All installation work by means of cables laid, dish installation & equipment supplied are guaranteed for 1 year. (Any storm or severe weather damage to the dish alignment does not apply)

(13) Payments & Delivery

A) Cash or credit/debit card payment (Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro, Solo)

B) Google Checkout (credit & debit cards via Googles secure payment gateway)

C) Bank Transfer, cheque or postal order made payable to "Proton Electronics" (Items will not be sent until payment has cleared)

Delivery:
Upon cleared payments, items will be despatched within 1-2 working days via either Royal Mail or an independant courier. High Value items will be sent with a tracking number which can be provided upon request. We will not send out any items until payments have cleared. Bank Transfer & Cheques take a Minimum of 3 days to clear, so please bear this in mind when using these methods.

(14) Returns & Refunds

Items returned for a refund are fully accepted providing that;

a) Items are returned within 7 days.

b) Items are unopened & in original packaging.

c) You are responsible for postage costs when returning items.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt. Provided items are returned at buyer's expense and are in the same condition as received (brand new condition).

You must notify us of your intention to do so within this 7 day period. Goods must be returned at your cost and liability, unused and as new, complete with all accessories, cables, manuals and in undamaged original packaging. Goods must be protected for transit. Your original delivery charge will NOT be refunded, even if free delivery was offered !

Please note "Customised" orders, including cut lengths of cable, are not covered under the right to cancel.

Faulty products will be repaired or replaced according to the manufacture warranty.

Items which are defective upon receipt must be reported to us within 48 hours. For such items a replacement or refund will be offered.

After 5 days a defective item should be reported to the manufacturer and the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty will apply. In case of hardware faults, please send email detailing the issue and wait for returns authorization from us before returning any items.

Testing of returned products can take up to 5 working days. If items are found to be working and not faulty then the customer would have to pay £35 Engineer fee plus they would need to pay full return postage fees.

Customer is responsible for ALL shipping charges and risk of damage or loss on all returning shipments.

The above terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights.

Blank hobby cards will not be refunded once data has been added on them!

Offical Viewing Cards cannot be accepted for refunds once card has been activated.

(15) Damaged Goods / Errors

If you believe that an order may have been damaged in transit to you, please sign for it as "damaged" to the carrier, or refuse to accept the delivery. You must retain all original packaging for examination. You must contact us immediately by phone 0844 567 2792 or contact us

You must notify us of damaged goods within 24 hours of receipt of goods.

You must notify us of any errors in orders within 2 days of receipt of goods.

(16) Warranty

All items we sell come with 12 months Return To Base Manufacturers Warranty !

A Return to Base (RTB) Warranty is exactly that, it requires you to return your faulty product to the manufacturer for repair. You are responsible for the shipping costs to and from the manufacturer. Unless otherwise stated, all manufacturers warranties are RTB.

Upon inspection they will repair or replace faulty products

Ordinary wear and tear, improper maintenance, user’s mistakes, abuse and misuse are not covered by the warranty.
